Mr. András OSSKÓ, |
András Osskó is a land surveyor MSc., currently deputy director and head of survey department at the Budapest Land Office which is the institution of the Hungarian Unified Land Registry. He has more then 35 years experience in cadastral surveying and land registry matters.
He worked in Nigeria for six years as an international expert. He supported as
advisor international projects in Hungary during 90s, like PHARE supported „Computerisation
of Land Offices” and Budapest LIS INFOCAM system, financed by the Swiss
Government.
András Osskó is active in home and international professional organisations. He
is vice chair of FIG Commission 7- Cadastre, land management- and chairing the
Working group 7.1.
„ Creation Land administration in formal and informal environment”. He has
published over twenty papers in English dealing with land administration matters
during FIG conferences, events. He was active participant in the joint FIG/UN
Bathurst Workshop in 1999, introducing the Bathurst Declaration „ Land
Administration as infrastructure for sustainable development”.
He is participating in UNECE/ Real Estate Advisory Group activities and member
of the Advisory Committee for the Central European Land Knowledge Center
(Budapest, Hungary)
Member of the Hungarian Society of Surveying and Remote Sensing. He has
published more then 30 articles, papers in professional journals and conferences.
He is member of the Chamber of Juridical Experts.
