Dr. Zoltán Forgács is a land surveyor, eur. ing., dr. ing., senior advisor, quality manager, head of department of the Budapest Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing, Hungary. He has experiences in official management of cadastral surveying, in supervision of geodetic works, in quality management by ISO Standards, in expertise of land surveying and land registry for courts and in appraisal. He also has 10 years teaching experience in land registry.

 

Dr. Forgács is a FEANI European Engineer, and a licensed surveyor for cadastral works, and an IATCA QMS Auditor/Senior Auditor and an IRCA QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor and a Chartered Juridical Expert on land surveying, land registry and appraisal.

 

Dr. Forgács has some published paper on various topics covering his professional experience. He also wrote some exercise book for post-gradual education at Budapest University of  Technology and Economics.

 

Dr. Forgács is head of section at Hungarian Association of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing, and is chairing the Ethical Committee at the Hungarian Chamber of Juridical Experts. He is the member of Hungarian Chamber of Engineers, too. Dr. Forgács is the chairman of Hungarian National Committee of FIG.9. Committee.

 

Dr. Forgács is permanent member of Expert Group on Quality and Expert Group on Legal and Commercial Issues at Eurogeographpics umbrella organisation of European National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies.
